Now that I have an ess sytem in my bmw ,should I use a different oil,should I change spark plugs...Not much help from ess on the matter.....

Congrats on your S/C!
The S/C and your engine are kind of separate items in the engine bay. There is no reason to change the kind of oil used in the engine. Stick with the BMW 5W-30 you get from the dealer. I know that most likely the S/C uses the oil from the engine and that is fine. Just check your oil level...you may need to add just a bit more since the S/C is using some.
Your plugs are fine I'm sure but it depends on the mileage. They are supposed to be 100k mile spark plugs.
