Sorry...new guy here. I just purchased a 2001 525i. Just wondering if anyone had some good suggestions on things to upgrade. It can be on anything related to the year/model that I drive. Web links to similar model or where I can get parts would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the 'Fest, HN! 
What I would do is completely immerse myself into these pages...read lots of threads...do lots of searches on various items like NAV-TV, DVD, armrests, stereos, etc.
What features of your newly-acquired car do you not like and wonder if they can be improved upon?

Thanks for the advice. Except most threads ar for the updated 540 and M models.
One thing I would like to improve on would be the sound system by replacing the entire stereo system. If too complicated maybe just adding a subwoofer for bass.
Just anything that would make 525 run a little better. Perhaps improving the airflow, etc.
