Heater blower just stopped
Hi the blower has just stopped working in my 520i. Can any one advise on any checks that I can do i.e. fuses etc. Or is it the replacemet of the final stage unit??
ANy advise would be helpfull

Cheers | Typically, if it completely stops, it isn't the final stage resistor so I would check the appropriate fuses (fuse descriptions are pretty good). Be sure to check front and back fuseboxes.
If the fuses are good, Agent99 is likely correct and it is the final stage resistor. Fortunately, the part is relatively cheap and the replacement is a straightforward 15 minute DIY job. Check out www.bmwtips.com under tips&tricks.
