 Plugs, questions????

I've seen Bosch spark plugs for almost $18 and NGK for about $8 so whats the difference between the 2? Looking to do a tune-up on my (e39) so I am shopping around for tune up parts.

Who has the cheapest bmw parts online? Thanks for the help!

Hmm, all the prices I've seen for the OE plugs show the Bosch ones a buck or two less.

I suggest you pull one plug out and see what the factory put in there, Bosch or NGK. Then buy that same one. NGK for about $8 sounds about right www.ngk.com is a good source. Bosch for $18 is what you'd pay at the dealer's counter. Try Pacific bmw if you have hours of time to spend on the phone waiting for someone to take your phone call. Try Circle bmw if you are willing to pay 7% more and have someone take your order within few seconds....

hmmm, i live in the Chicago area but I will check on the plugs and advise further...

I have had good luck with both brands, but agree, using what is currently in the car is likely the best (assuming they have given good service). For NGK, I have seen great prices here: https://www.rockauto.com/ and here: http://www.clubplug.net/

You might also check them for Bosch plug prices as well.
