so what can i expect from the interview with the sales manager of the local bmw deale

yeah so i interview tomorrow. i figure i'd ask people who were in it, and who are still in it.

most sales experience i have has been in the wireless industry, but i've always been told i should go sale cars but treat my customers like i do, and that i would have a lot of referrals just based on how i treated my customers.

i guess i want to try it because i want that challenge in a different industry, which can pay off if you really try it (and because i cant see myself selling anything but bmws, and i thank the forums for all the info ive gathered).

aside from lack of experience in car sales, i honestly feel that they might feel negatively about my young age (23), but we'll see.

so any and all suggestions are welcomed.

I had no experience, but my enthusiasm for BMW's, and the fact that I own them, got me the job. At my center, I am the only CA who has his own bmw.

Just remember to "ask for the business" at your interview....

If you already have knowledge about BMW that is a great plus -

Be assertive , but not arrogant or pushy -

Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.....

Selling BMWs is easy - selling yourself SHOULD be easy........

Make a friend , make a paycheck

Sell from your heart and the rest will flow so easy......

update:

went and did the interview. i felt like it went really good. I wasnt sure how much i expected to make, so i based it from what friends who work in other brands made (60k). manager said the laziest made more heh. He said he was narrowing his search down to 2 for a 2nd interview and i was 1 of them. I expect to call him later this week.
