 Independent BMW techs in phoenix

During my last visit to the BMW dealership i was told that i need new brake pads for the rear pretty soon.

I'm going to need new rotors and pads soon, that's for sure. While i know and read thoroughly in this forum that it is a DIY i don't have the time now as i am leaving out of town in two weeks.

Anyone know any good independent BMW techs in phoenix. I can buy the OEM pads from a BMW dealer and get is installed by an independent tech.

If no one comes up with a specific recommendation for you, I'd suggest you choose an IAIBMWSP member shop. They should stock OEM BMW parts so you won't need to buy the pads and rotors and their pricing for parts and labor are normally substantially less than dealership prices. Go to the link below, click on "Member Shops" and find the ones near you in AZ.

But if BMW brake dust drives you nuts, you might consider Axxis Deluxe Plus brake pads as a good alternative to OEM pads. Do a search under Axxis and you should find several discussons on the Axxis pads and references to Dave Z as a good source to order them from. http://www.zeckhausen.com/axxis_pads.htm
