Haha I remember reading that in car and driver or some publication "the nissan maxima has always been the poor man's five series" lol.
I love my Maxima though, I'm on the org as "desigle".

Yea the Inifinity I30t (I call it the Maxima with an expensive Badge) was all I could afford right out of college. Though it's almost 6 years old, it still looks very new (I take very good care of my cars) and it's still a nice "car" but it ain't no "Ultimate Driving Machine".
I've been tempted to just go with the MY07 5er for ED on Sept. I don't think I can wait that long for the MY08... I'm in the process of ordering now so we'll see how that goes.

Ha, I spoke with the ED wiz that's supposed to put in the order for me, and emailed him my 5er's config., but have not yet received confirmation on the numbers yet. So we'll see. I will visit the BMW dealer that my neighbor works in and see if maybe they can put this ED order in for me at ED invoice + some
