I get no sense of stereo when listening to the SAT radio. HD Radio on the other hand sounds great and spread all over the car. And I'm not blaming BMW's implementation - this seems to be a common observation: (search text on this post for "mono") http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/1/9168.html As an audio engineer, I just don't like it at all - and sure, MONO is fine for Howard Stern - or the traffic and weather, but for music  Maybe it will be decent for resale for the tone deaf or talk radio fans, but I doubt I'll be going past the free 1st year. |

It is mono - I heard it immediately - at least every station I have sampled so far is mono.

OK - I called them - the guy says some stations are stereo - I guess I keep looking until I find one

All music is stereo and talk is mono, IIRC.
