Ok, I'm very curious about this. Let's say you buy an E60 with the idea of flipping it pretty quickly. There has to be a blend of price/options/color on the car that would make it the easiest to flip. A stripper 525i would be the cheap but how many people would actually want one? Is the 530i moderately equipped perhaps the easiest? This is the middle-of-the-road 5-series. Lets not get into financials here (lease vs. buy or even ED for that matter although all this certainly is important at the end of the day). In a nutshell, what is the most popular 5-series and what options are on the most popular 5-series. I think we can all agree that Titanium Silver and Black cars are the most popular color with black or grey interiors. I think this might be a fun exercise.

Slow day at work today Agent99? I think the 530i would be easiest to flip. Best options IMHO would be NAV, Comfort Seats, Logic7, Premium, and Cold Weather package.

Not all your threads are duds 99. I've actually thought of this too. However, my thinking was that the E60 will get a refresh in the next year so it would have been "old" in relatively short time. That is why we opted for an E90. Now our complication will be that 328/335 will be out and the 330 will/may be less desireable . We'll see how it goes but we're hoping to do ED next year with a refreshed E60.

Agent 99, I think maybe a 530 that was slightly better than moderately equipped. Not a loaded 530, but one that has several goodies that will appeal to a wide audience. The line of thinking being: even if it doesn't have everything a person wanted it would have some things on the wish list.

99, are you worried about steadily rising lease rates?
