A lot of people here agree that BMW engines are already tweaked and tuned to their limit from the factory, so doing mods such as high-flow air filters, etc won't really make much difference...
But with the 530i having the same 3.0L engine as the 525i, how does the 530's 3-stage air intake manifold manage to give it 40 more horsepower and much more torque?

Quote: do a search | I did an extensive search but there were none which talked about how the 3-stage actually worked. But, I did find out that the increase had to do also with different final drive ratios, software, and exhaust... at least that's how it is on the 330.
