Ok the car is built. What is the realistic timeframe to actually get it? Side note, I sold my M3 yesterday so I am enjoying walking for the next month. |

I am turning in my current lease Monday, the same day my 530i6 ED comes into NY on FREEDOM. Still another 7-14 days to dealer I'm afraid.
I will ride a vintage BMW bike (two in the garage at the moment) or my rusty Vespa ('65 Sprint 150cc) for one week, then rent a F-150 for the second for some household projects. Just one of the downsides of ED I'm afraid. You car will also take a few extra days to install the M aero kit - how stupid is that I know! Esp since I saw them flying off the Dingolfing production line beside cars w/o the kit - this I will NEVER understand.
I tried to plan it close, but two weeks is the best I could do.
I must say you have EXCELLENT taste. My last two BMWs were TiAg+Black and manual is a must for the Ultimate Driving Machine!

Side note, I sold my M3 yesterday so I am enjoying walking for the next month. | Mine was awaiting transport on 5/12 and boarded on the vessel on 5/15. ETA to Charleston, SC port is 6/03 and from gathering information from others from port to VPC is about 1 - 2 days then it stays at VPC for about 5-7 days and at the dealer the next day.
So I am expecting my car on or about 6/12 - 6/14.
Please note that if your car is damaged during transit it may take longer at the VPC while the car is repaired (Exterior).
I hope this will help.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone how to obtain the document (or report) from the VPC to determine what work was performed?

I just noticed on your signature that you have the M Aero Kit, 19" 172 Style Wheels as an added option.
I'm not 100% sure but I read somewhere on this forum that it took several days longer to install the kit at VPC.
You might want to do a search.

I am sure that adding the M Kit at the VPC wll take longer than normal prep. I guess a day or so if they have the kit in stock, which they should.
