I have never owned a BMW but have the chance to trade in my 2000 audi a4 awd with 95,000 miles on it for a 2001 bmw325IT with 30,000 miles. the deal seems fair but I am worried about a rwd car in midwest winters. . also I am not familar with reliabilty and possible upcoming repair work. . I am trying to avoid having to dump more money into my audi and ultimatley loosing trade in value. .I need any opinions asap. . beemer owners please give me your advice. .

thanks!!!

Go to tirerack.com, get a set of Dunlop WinterSport M3s on 16" wheels. Our 325iT is a frickin snowmobile with those tires on there.

Alternately, considering you're in Chicago and get more of the white stuff than we do here, you might want to go with an even more aggressive winter tire, like the Nokian tires.

Admins, any way you cna move this to the tire forum?
