Having a problem with call waiting.
If I'm on a call and another call comes in, I can hear the second call "ring" over the car's speakers, but nothing displays on the i-drive screen. If i use the phones buttons to accept the call, it works fine and I can switch between calls, but it would be nice to do this through i-drive or the steering wheel buttons. Would be really nice if the second call's caller ID info displayed on the screen.
Any ideas????

same question here. I can hear it but I thought it used to say "Call Wainint" on the screen. I don't have iDrive but I thought it was on the stereo read out. Anyone else have the E815 and use call waiting?

I don't think there is a solution to Call Waiting. I've been doing as you described by pressing the SEND key on my phone to switch between callers. Call Waiting might be incorporated as a new feature in a future release of the CIP. One can only hope.

I cannot even accept calls or end calls with the steering wheel button, nor the iDrive wheel. I have a sprint blade (samsung)

I have a Verizon E815 and have the very same issue as the first posters. It would be great if there could be a fix to the call waiting issue.

This lack of function is a huge oversight on behalf oF BMW, dropped both calls.. I lose both calls if I dont pick up my call waiting, happens everyday at leat 10 times, these guys lost the plot!! BAD PLANNING BMW!
