Im helping my girlfriends mother buy a 530i. It stickers for around 51k. Not sure what all the options are. Whats a fair price?

I got a good price from one dealer which was halfway between MSRP and dealer invoice. A different dealer, the one I preferred, matched the price after a little haggling. I might have been able to save more by going to other dealers that weren't as close to my home. The dealer's service department is very good and they gave me, in writing, a promise of a loaner car even for normal maintenance.

I think it all depends on your skills, I think 1000 over invoice is definitly possible. Make an offer and be ready to sign on the dotted line, they need the sales regardless of what they say about how well they are doing.

I got my 07 Touring for $1,500 over invoice but dealer also tagged on $300 for their group advertising crap. Total bull but $1,800 over not a bad deal. Assuming you belong to CCA you will get $1,000 of that rebated after purchase.

Depends on your region or where you are willing to travel to get your BMW.... I see you are in the USA...care to narrow it down a bit and we might be able to suggest some good dealers for you.

If you are near NY...I have a dealer that will sell you the car for 1k over Invoive.
