Got another bird dropping today in the middle of my hood...It won't come off with washing, waxing. Had one before on the trunk and after the dealer tried to remove it with polish and wax and electric buffer...it did not come off.
This one is huge and middle of the hood.....any products ?
Black sapphire 2007 550
THANKS

Wait a minute, are you saying it has already etched into your paint? Bummer. Are you even sure it is a bird dropping? How about some pics?
I had a bird dropping (I think) that etched the clear coat. It took several minutes and dabs of a polishing cream to soften the etch but I can still see it today if I look just right.

Yes, it's permanent. Sorry.

If it sits there long enough, you're SOL. It will etch clear through to the paint, and there isnt much you can do beside re-spray.
My wife let some bird cr*p sit on the of her hood Sienna too long, and even 2000 grit sandpaper couldn't get it completely out. It's not as obvious, but there's still a shadow of it from certain angles.

Look for a pro-detailer to have a look...polishing can help but in some cases wet sanding is the answer....I really don't think that its gone all the way threw the clear coat...if there is still a sheen on that area then you still have clear. that's my suggestion about it
