545i Gas Mileage
Just drove from N.O. to Memphis. By the time I arrived, the tank was near empty... the post-trip fillup was 17.5 gallons. My odometer at the time read 405 miles. By my calculations, I got about 23 MPG, but my trip computer showed that I averaged 30.1 MPG... what's up with that?? I averaged a little over 77 MPH according to the trip computer (that includes driving around before I actually hit I-55 and the one stop I made in Jackson). However, on the highway I probably averaged somewhere closer to 80-85 MPH.
Just wondering what other E60 drivers are experiencing with gas mileage.

Just wondering what other E60 drivers are experiencing with gas mileage. | There's a setting in I-Drive for US or Imperial gallons. Is that set correctly?
I've never checked the accuracy of the trip computer...... just assumed it was correct.

In the 9000 miles I owned/drove my 545i/SMG, I got 19/24 calculated myself.

drove my 545 from seattle to pittsburg and returned. the computer showed 25 and calculated 24.5.
