LOWEST possible price for 550i Euro Delivery

Hello Everyone,

Planning on doing ED on 550i by end of the year and wanted to know if anyone has gotten a good deal on 550i ED (though unlikely since just begining production)...

Also, in the 2006 "5SeriesPricing.pdf" under the "Confidential Wholesale Price section"

Wholesale Base Price Euro Delivery Munich Pick Up = Dealer's actual price for ordering one 550i from the factory for me. And is the difference between this price ($48,575) and the "Suggested Base Price Euro Delivery Munich Pick Up" ($53,380) is what the dealer profit ($4,805) is for taking this ED order for me? And that I should begin negotiating my ED price based on $48,575 up? Maybe $48,575 + 1000 (dealer commission)?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Just to give you an indicator, I have negotiated a deal for $1500 above European Wholesale price for the 2006 550i. It all depends on the car and its price. You can definitiely start at $1000 but it might be optimistic.

Well, theoretically, it shouldn't matter since the car doesn't come out of the dealer's normal allocation for the year. ED cars are "freebies" to dealers and icing on the cake if they don't get too greedy about them.

However, the dealer will use market conditions to get the most profit he can: i.e. charge more for the "hot" 550i and take less for the "not as hot" 530i or 525i.

Edit: Doh! Didn't notice the date on this as I replied!!

I do question whether the dealer loses his holdback on ED vehicles, and is thus working from a narrower profit margin.
