Aloha,

I'm hoping to find someone else who may have had this problem and gotten it fixted. A rattling / clicking noise lasting for about 1 - 2 seconds happens maybe once or twice a day when I either unlock the car or pull the door handle to open it. Sometimes I even just hear it happen in the garage by itself (without the key in or anything). After the noise is heard, about once a week I'll turn the key in the ignition and the noise is heard again with the warning light on. I then do not have power steering at all (but I've only started the car and have not yet put it into gear).. Usually if I turn the car off and re-start, it'll not do it again. But twice now in the last 14 months the same thing has happened twice in a row. Any thoughts on this or what I may need to do? My dealer simply didn't do anything a year ago because the problem of course did not manifest itself at that very moment they were checking. Any insight would be much appreciated. Mahalo!
