V27 Nav Upgrade
HI,
I have just brought a 530d Se Auto December 2003 Model.
I've read about the nav upgrades and am interested in upgrading to V27.
Can someone tell me if it's possible on this model (E60) as I don't wanna harm anything or mess the nav system up.

I don't know what kind of system you have but i upgraded mine to V27 in my MKIV.
if you need to DL it, i'll find you the link. just burn it and follow the directions which is quite simple.
if you have a newer version nav then i'm not sure though i would htik you would since the i-drive is tied into it.

Yeah I have i-Drive, so does anyone know if I can upgrade to V27, at the moment I just get arrows on the display, can't access a map view which would be much better.

Hi,
I took a chance, put the V27 CD into my DVD drive............and nothing so just to let anyone with an E60 5 Series with i-Drive, the V27 update is not compatible.
