Okay, there have been some members here who have wanted to see what the face lift of the e60 might be. I did some digging around and found these pictures from another forum. I don't think they were ever posted here. Look at the front and rear bumpers closely. Also, take a look at the truck cover lid where the license plate is. Now, can you tell?

GMAN | Right. For anyone waiting to purchase/lease a face lifted e60 hoping that BMW "improves" its appearance, they'll be disappointed. The cosmetic changes are so subtle that even enthusiasts here are having a difficult time pointing out the changes. So, go ahead and get the 2007 model.
