Laser in my car??

Who has a Valentine 1? Start your car, plug it in and put it near the windshield so you can see the V1 display. Now start pointing the back of it up toward the interior roof (be careful not to cover the laser detection eye that is pointing backwards... What happens? For me, the laser warning starts going off... Has anyone else encountered this?

Unfortunately, the Idrive display emits in the same frequency as police laser. I mounted miy unit in the rear of my car (illustrated in DIYe60) and had constant laser warnings. Spoke to Valentine one and they brought me up to speed on the Idrive display emissions.
