 Motorola RAZR E60 Accessory

BMW part # is 84 21 0 415 023 for the E60.

See here: http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=890524

Within that thread is a link to another forum with a list of the BMW part numbers for this nice little thing. Dunno the cost but since it's BMW, it'll easily be over $100 IMO.

I'll get one anyway....

It is NEWS that is certainly interesting, but to me it is not exciting. Nevertheless, thank you. I will be more interested to hear from an early adopter on how the phone fits in the adapter and whether it performs the basic functions of charging and improving reception/transmission.

Kinda excited? If I were to get the cradle there goes my coin tray. Also, I already have the car charger for my RAZR. Yes, I know it's unsightful but oh well. Money for the the cradle can better be spent on remapping my ECU!

That part will cost $140, plus you'll need to buy the base plate for another $140, and another $150 in labor to install, so ~$500 with tax--not cheap, just to charge the phone and connect to shark fin antenna. Since the car has Bluetooth, you already have connectivity to the car without this expense, so not very excited about it! And I'd lose my coin holder!

haha...now we are getting more info on this! Yeah, not too exciting now if Stream has it right....

However, does it take up the whole "coin tray" ?? Doesn't look like it on the picture (of the E90).

The only thing bad about the RAZR is that having bluetooth on all the time really sucks down the battery.
