I tried to order my car with options from the BMW Individual program from the dealer in Germany. Once I told them that I wanted the car in American Specs, the price of the package went through the roof. I guess BMW doesn't want Americans enjoying the high quality they have to offer yet.

The problem is that BMW doesn't need to offer any more than they do in the U.S. because they're sales here are strong. Also, the other competitors don't offer it although Mercedes does give you the Designo interiors to choose from.
My opinion is that BMW individual may not be necessary, but better interior choices is definitely in order.
