Recall
I dropped my 545i off at the dealership this morning for the yearly state inspection, and the service advisor told me that there is a "recall" on my car; it requires reprogramming. It has version 20.0 right now. I never received any prior notice about this requirement, so it must be of the type where it gets done if and only if the customer brings the car in for something else, ie, no manditory notification of the owner.

It's a Service Action based on a Service Information Bulletin. For what though I'm curious since you already have 20.0.

I asked him twice what issues its designed to address and he wouldnt tell me. I didnt really press it, however. The car goes in on May 17 and I'll ask another advisor then.
