I will be picking up my 2006 525 soon and wanted to know what is the definitive list of dealer programmable options on my car.
1. Daytime Running Lights 2. Fast Shift Mode on the Steptronic Manual Mode 3. Key linked seat memory 4. Auto Lock after a few seconds motion.
Are the above options confirmed? Is there anything else out there which I could customize? And in the I-Drive Era do dealers still provide the Key Setting Options page?

3 and 4 are set in iDrive.

To the best of my knowledge the only options the dealer can set up are the DRL's and the sensitivity of the Auto Headlights.Everything else is done through the I drive. Good luck cheers vern

I think you have your answers, BA. DRLs for sure must be done by the dealer (I went through this on my 545i) and Auto-Locking/Seat Memory is in the I-Drive.
The slushy mode and the one mentioned by Vern, Auto lights, are new ones on me. Be sure to update this thread when the time arrives!
P.S. I think I'll ask for some of this stuff in Munich...see if they'll do it.

Just got an E60 530 loaner while they look at my E65.
The iDrive screen has four menus (ventilation, communication, entertainment and car-data). I did not see any place where I could customize the settings mentioned above (auto lock and seat memory link).
