according to a good source, the E90 335 is coming in Sep as well and BMW ALWAYS maintains consistency in the engine options (it's cheaper for them to standardize on a few and customers are happier).  |

Since this is a new engine, I would think that BMW would most likely test it out on the 3-series first before introducing it to the other lines. I am thinking may be March or September 07 for the MY08 535?

MY2007 530 started this March, so we have to wait till next year to get MY2008 535. I guess it's typo by Ucla95, probably "335 coming September".

So if a 535 is really coming, I wonder what sort of power it'll have. At 300hp and the weight savings it would be very close to the 550 in terms of performance. Maybe they'll detune it a tad down to 275hp or so? would give a little bit better spacing in terms of price and performance between a base 528, mid-level 535, and the top end 550.

535i is NOT coming in September for MY2007. In case it slipped by some of you, MY2007 has already started this month.
if a 535i biturbo comes, it will be as a MY2008 most likely.
