6 Speed Shift Knob Choices?? Help me.

I am really starting to like the poplar trim in my 550. The only question now is what to do about a shift knob and e-brake. I have the light up ///M shifter from my M3 which is all one piece with the shift boot and looks really nice. I have not tried it yet but I am pretty sure that it won't fit into the opening on my 550 unless I remove the plastic bezel and glue the boot to one that fits my car. No big deal at all. If I decide I want it to light up, it's also not a problem. Or, I have an AC Schnitzer Short Shift knob (real deal) that I used in my M3 and loved. Only problem is that I think the aluminum shifter won't match my wood trim too well. If I use it I will also buy an ACS e-brake handle. Option #3 is to buy a wood shifter and e-brake handle. Option # 4 is of course to leave it alone and save some time and a bit of money, too. Suggestions??

PS: What about aluminum pedals?? Had them in my M3 and loved them, especially when driving barefoot which I tend to do all summer.

I would go for option 4. As fast as the 550i is, you should be focusing on the road and not looking at the shifter. That's just my opinion though, to each their own.
