Headlight Aiming
I recently took a full tire in my bumper at 75mph after the car in front of me ran over it and threw it up into my car. The bumper had to be replaced and in the process the body shop had to remove he headlights to take the bumper off. All is good now but it appears the left headlight is aimed lower than I recall before taking my car to the shop.
There are two screw type adjusters at the top of each headlight. Does anyone know which one is for up/down and which is for left/right? I thought it easier to first ask before I start turning the screws and risk totally messing up the aim. Thanks for the help.

Keep in mind that the left headlight is supposed to be aiming lower than the right one, so as not to blind oncoming traffic. It could be that the headlight is correctly aligned, and that you never noticed the left one being lower before.

Yeah the left headlight was always lower but I think the body shop was overly conservative with the height adjustment.
