My 530xi is almost a month old and I'd like to hear some bimmerfest recommendations for car wax and wheel cleaner. Do the wheels always accumulate brake dust so fast? I think I could clean them every 100 miles!

I have been using P21S gel for the wheels. Brake dust accumaltes like crazzy. I am wondering if it has organic pads? I haven't waxed it yet, but on my other vehicles I use Megiures NXT. I also use some of there mirror glaze products. The mirror glaze products you can order online, or go to an automotive paint supply store to purchase.

One of the key problems with all BMWs That's why I have replaced the brake pads on both my 328i and my M3 with dustless pads. There is absolutely no difference with wear, feel or noise. The only thing that I have experienced are a lot cleaner wheels. Might create some warantee issues so check with your dealer. I too use P21S gel. Also the P21S car wax is considered by many to be the best available.

I think I could clean them every 100 miles! | One Grand Blitz wax is my favorite. For wheels, get a California mini duster, and apply Rejex. Here's a thread with my favorite detailing products: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=137277

P21S for a pure carnuaba wax or Zaino Z2 Pro for a polymer based protection. Both offer amazing clarity and gloss.
