Picked up my new 2007 530Xi last night. Drove it to work this morning and when I turned off the car and opened the door a message saying "Radio Mode Is Still On" appeared on the bottom of the screen along with an exlamation point in the instrument cluster. The radio would not turn off and I could not lock the car. I have comfort access and placed the key in the ignition and then released it and everything shut down. This has now happened twice and was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if I was doing something wrong. Thanks for your help.

Was your phone connected to the car through bluetooth when this happened?

Hahaha... I replied to your post in e60.net  Take it to the dealer. Needs a software upgrade eventhough you just took delivery.

When this happens, I take my phone and either turn it off or turn off the bluetooth on my phone, and the car will finish turning off the iDrive.
Plus, in all likelihood, your car already has the latest software installed.
