I ordered an 07 550i (03/06) and was curious whether the ipod adapter would be in the car. The car is currently awaiting transport. I know that an auxillary connection is in the car, but i read that the ipod integration was avail in the 07 5 series. Thanks. Also, is there a number I can call to check the status.

Did you order it and pay for it? Is it on your paperwork? Is it even available for you to buy at the dealership yet? There have been several posts here detailing this - please use search.

I was at my dealer today. They expect to have specific info/product in May/June. It is not a build to order option at this point.

It is only aftersales - will not be orderable.
I expect to have one in my car by Memorial Day and will report here on how it is, beyond what I reported from my test drive (see E90 forum, I didn't want to cross post) from last week, which was pretty good.
