 5 series Muffler question

I was just wondering, why BMW doesn't have dual exhaust mufflers?

I think it will make the 5 series little more sporty if it had a dual exhaust one on each side or near the center like the later model M3's.

What does everyone else think?

M5 does have dual mufflers each side. In fact all M cars have dual. I agree ours would look better with dual.
Just BMW's way of separating the men from the boys.

I know the M5's have them. I was just wondering why others don't. The 645i has the dual exhaust also which makes the cars rear end look alot more aggressive.

Does the 550?

Nope. And if you want to retrofit it will cost $1.5K for a real dual exhaust with quad tips.
