OK - here's another trivial question...
On the 2007 Sport package is the Shadowline trim the glossly version or is it flat black? On the '06's I've seen it is flat black. But on the new M5 it is the gloss black like on the E39, the X5, and the X3.

Anyone know if you can buy those from an M5 and put on a normal 550?
I am not trying to be a poser M5 - just hate the flat black in between the windows - as that area always shows hand prints and such - and is a pain to clean.

Kirk | I think you would find the glass black panels even worse. I saw one M5 that screamed handprints when you saw how they were highlighted by the reflection of the gloss surface. I don't find the flat treatment hard to clean, especially with a paper towel and a little bit of Lexol Vinylex which gives it a very slight even sheen that deepens the black some and seems to resist smudges.

I agree and may change mine if I can when it comes in. I have an '02 M5 with the gloss black and it looks great - is great.
