We probably just got a knucklehead, but when the salesman and I called to activate the SIRIUS radio, the lady did not want to provide the free year of service. We had provided the ESN and she said that BMW owners only received six months. The salesman tried to assure her that she was incorrect and that BMW owners got one year of free service. Then she asked for the car's VIN and said that she had no record of a SIRIUS radio in it (although it was installed at the factory). Eventually after lots of her moaning and groaning in the background, she mysteriously went ahead and said that BMW owners get one year of free service. Then she had us tune to channel 184 and eventually, the radio started to work on all channels. She never asked for a credit card number for future service, but did ask for email so that I could be enrolled in the on-line music service. |

Sirius doesnt ask for a credit card #. My one year subscription is up in less than a week, and I need to give them the # to renew.
