With the price of gas going up all the time, have you made any changes in your driving habits?
1. Drive less "recreational" miles 2. Drive with more of an eye on fuel economy and less "spirited" 3. Driving another car that is cheaper to run (better mpg, runs on regular fuel) 4. Driving less altogether 5. Hell no, fill it up and get out the way!

I should be watching my fuel usage, but I just can't resist the urge to mash the pedal down just to hear the engine sing. What good is my BMW if I wanted to save on gas that much?
If it was impacting me that much, I think getting rid of it for something fuel efficient would be the way to go....but that ain't going to happen for me.

Gas has gone up a buck a gallon in the last six months. That costs me an additional $10-12 a week. No driving changes yet.

None of the above... I haven't changed my style at all
I live in an area of very straight boring farm roads and interstates. I drive pretty economically to begin with day to day. I do put the hammer down and have some fun, but not very often around here

Just for fun, I've been having a contest with myself on my commute. I reset the OBC and drive like a grandma. It's not a bad game to play, in fact a lot less stress than my usual fight with the SUV's.
I actually got 31.9 mpg once last week...and that's in a 12 mile route of city driving! The only thing is, you can cut that down to 21 in just a few punches. It's just cool to have such a flexible car; the e46 is such a blank slate for the mood you are in.
