I'm in the market for a 550i.
I would love a thread dedicated to 550i driver impressions.
Pros and Cons
likes and dislikes
options you should've gotten options you wish you didn't get
thanks!

Love my 550i. Options I should have gotten, but I bought off the lot:
Comfort Seats vs. Sport Seats (Now part of U.S. Sport Package) Fold down back seats - very useful, although trunk is quite large HD Radio - not available when I purchased my car New Tire Pressure Monitor? Maybe. Not sure it is more reliable than current FTM system Not interested in HUD or Night Vision Maybe Sirius Radio

Carefully verify the steering wheel is DEAD center before signing the dotted line. Shame on me for not noticing this in my 10 minute test drive

The 550 is a blast. I've had mine for a few months and I'm going to get a second one, I like it that much. Almost as much fun to drive as my M3 but a heck of a lot more comfortable.
Options you gotta have:
Sport Package Cold Weather (obviously depends on where you live) Navigation - much improved Logic 7 - expensive, but worth it
Nice stuff, but it depends on the person:
Comfort Access Satellite Radio - I'm not sure if the novelty will wear off with this Active Steering - I actually like it, some hate it Comfort Seats - the sport seats are good but these are better if you travel for distance
Other comments:
The iDrive is very easy to use once you get used to it. If you can use a computer mouse, you'll be fine within a day or two.
Bluetooth works great with all of my Motorola phones (I have 4)
The 550i is, without a doubt, the best sports sedan out there. Unless, of course, you want to drop down $90K for an M5. IMO, not worth the extra $30K.

It is easy to learn and use.
