March 2006 5 Series Sales Report
March sales of the 5 Series increased to 5,265 units which is a 33.4% increase over the 3,947 units sold last March. For the first quarter of 2006 5 Series sales have increased 28% over the same period of 2005. Not a bad start for the new year!
By way of comparison total monthly sales of the Mercedes-Benz E Class were only 3,884 units this month which was a minimal 7.6% increase over the 3,608 cars sold in March, 2005. YTD sales of the MB E Class totaled 8,659 units, down 3.0% from the first quarter of 2005.
Please note that I report only the United States sales data.
