 How to increase power for 530i 07'



I have ordered 530i 07' and looking for info on ways to increase power for the 530i
ECU software upgrade or simillar
Can anyone help me on this?

Swap the order for a 550i.......

Sorry, I'm just being a wise guy but steering issues aside my 550i is screaming fast! No need for hacking the 550i.

Ace may have been a tad sarcastic but he has a good point...for about another 6k, you could have 2 extra cylinders and more power than you'll ever need.

This I6 is going to be too new for there to be many mods available to you.

Hey I'm just being a wise guy, I meant no real harm by that. I do understand that for some the extra $6K or so is hard to take financially. I was there in 1998 when I wanted a Carrera but had to buy the Boxster.

But with the high residuals on the 550 it really turns out to be not that much more per month if you can go 24-36 months. Go NO MORE than 42 max.

He's right, if power is what you're after, buy the 550i. Though the $6K difference and the more $$$ paid on gas due to the lower MPG may seem like a drawback, if you can afford it, go for it.
