No need to wait for modern paints to cure before waxing.
I highly recommend One Grand Blitz wax. A high quality carnauba, great depth of color & shine, long lasting (as carnaubas go), and very easy application & removal.
See this post for my favorite detailing products: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=137277

One Grand is very nice BUT leaves a nasty white residue should it get on anything black.
P21S is just as good and actually easier to apply with absolutely NO residue. You can even apply it to black trim if you want.
You will not see a difference in shine between the 2 products. Both look and last the same.

This topic is better suited for the Detailing forum...head on over there for mindless debate about paint protectants. I take my car to a local detailer and let him do it. No clue what he uses and I could care less...car always shines when he's done and that's good enough for me.
