I am ordering a 530xi on saturday and curious to know when I order the sports pkg does the sport steering come heated and if so do I lose the steering wheel since I am ordering the cold weather pkg which includes a heated steering wheel.
I really could care less about the heated steering wheel, but if it looks anything like the SMG wheel then I want it!!

I ordered a 530xi with sport and cold package. Living in Minnesota, I would rather have the heated steering wheel than the sport steering wheel. I don't see anything suggesting that the two are incompatible... So here's hoping we can have both.

Check on the bmw website and build your own. I believe you can get both heated and sport steering wheel.

I had a local dealer configure a 2007 car for me with the sports package and cold weather package, which resulted in a heated steering wheel and, apparently, not the sport steering wheel.

That's a good question. I ordered a 2007 with both the cold weather package and the sport package. No one mentioned having to give up on the heated steering wheel or the sport steering wheel. I think I remember seeing that the 530xiT didn't include the sport steering wheel, just the trim and the seats.
