I guess with comments like that coming from a GUY who drives a Maldives blue Z4, then we shouldn't take it to much to heart

Seems to me with the Z4 selling like last week's carp at the fish market, their only choice would be to go cheaper. | Not necissarily - costs are defined as much by volume as by the individual piece part costs. If the Z4 coupe is like the Z3 coupe, it will be a smaller % of the total platform sales - which makes it more expensive to manufacture since efficiency in the factory goes down and the cost per part of the tools (and overhead) goes up.
I suspect that the coupe will be a few grand more then a comparably equiped vert.
