Hi everyone..
this is my first time posting on this forum, i've been reading up on a lot of post and trying to understand the whole ED purchasing. I've been wanting to order a 525I doesnt matter if its '06 or '07 but i believe since im ordering it now, i'll be getting the '07 correct?
what price would i use? Base usa port of entry @ $40,200? Base Euro del. @ $36,815?
when i do a ED purchase, does it need to be paid in full? or can i finance or lease it?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi , My name is Javier and i ordered my car with everything they offer.I like the 5 series but your gonna have to order up on the Engine. it comes with the small Inline-Six/the 330 comes with more horse power and i don't know why....And yes U can buy it or Lease..and you will get the 06 ....the 07, comes out around the month of September, for the following year.You can finance the car through BMW or your own bank..

lisalisa | The model year will depend when your car is produced. If want an 07 check with your Client Adviser when they go into production and see if you want to wait. Normally new model year cars start being produced in September. Because on ED cars there is a 30 day lag between production and delivery the earliest you could pick up in Munich would be the first week of October. For ED only look at the wholesale ED price for everything you want to order. Add it up plus a reasonable fee and shop it around several dealers.
ED cars must be bought 15 days prior to delivery. That means that 15 day prior to deliver you go sign the purchase paper like if your picking up from the lot. If you are financing you give the down payment and the finance papers. Please note that on ED car it is very hard to get financing from sources other than BMWFS. Bank want to get a copy of the title within reasonable time after giving you the money plus full coverage insurance on the car.

 Are you keeping your Lexus or trading it in? Have you ever ownerd a BMW before? What made you decide to go with a BMW? How is your Lexus? Good car? Any problems? What model?
