SMG 1st-2nd slow shift in D

SMG 1st-2nd slow shift in D

Does anyone know why the D1-D2 shift is so much slower (non-sport) than for other gear changes. It seems laboriously slow. I haven't been running the car in Sport mode to keep the revs low.

I plan on mostly using manual changing, but whilst driving around Germany, in urban areas, was more focussed on navigating unfamiliar roads and speed limits, so chose to use D.

when you break it in, and rev it higher the geras will change quicker, these cars never shifted quick with low rpms, I think they are meant to be driven agressive.
