Just taking a poll... For the black E60's, which do you prefer on the exterior... the classic look with the silver trim, or the more aggressive look with the black trim (smoked tail lights, black wheels, black grill, etc). Considering making some changes to my E60 and I'm undecided. Thanks to everyone for their feedback.

I like the shadow line trim with standard chrome grills. Was considering changing the grill to black, but then I thought the chrome adds some contrast, and gives it a more polished look. I also wouldn't mess with the tails for the same reason above and that it maybe illegal too...
FWIW, I also have a black 04 545i.

I've seen a couple of black e60's with the black wheels, black grill and tinted/smoked tail lights, and I thought they looked pretty cool. However, I like to hear what others have to say about that look. If I can get some pics, I'll post them.

I would suggest you do a real poll with options so that you can view your answers more easily.
Myself....... I have a Jet Black with shadow line trim and wouldn't change a thing on the exterior.
Too many changes (IMHO) will make an already very aggressive/classy car look Ghetto!

Dumb question - what is the shadow line trim? I'm not familiar with that. Thanks for your input and I may do the poll thing. BTW, nice website
