Did the Premium Package on the 2006 MY include BOTH interior and exterior auto-dimming mirrors? Apparently, the 2007 MY Premium Package ONLY include interior auto-dimming mirror. Could someone please confirm. Thanks.

From the BMWNA site, I see the following under OPTION PACKAGES:
Optional Packages
Cold Weather Package
3-stage heated front seats
3-stage heated rear seats12
High-pressure headlight cleaning system
Heated steering wheel
Premium Package
Dakota leather upholstery and door trim
Auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror
Integrated 3-button Universal garage-door opener
Lighting Package
This seems to specifically limit the auto dimming mirror to the inside, whereas the Ordering Guide still shows both item 430 and 431 as part of the Premium Package. What gives?

Yes, but the 2006 packages were described the same way and the exterior autodimming
mirrors were included.

Certainly, I recall reading somewhere that the exterior mirrors also were auto-dim and at that point deciding to go with the Premium Package because of that. I have auto-dim interior mirror on my current (GM) ride and love it. Any chance you can dig up the 2006 description from somewhere so that I can sleep better at night? Thanks.

FWIW, in the E39, the only car that came with BOTH auto-dimming interor and exteriors mirrors was the M5. Otherwise, the non-M E39s with the Premium Pkg got an auto-dimming interior mirror but no exterior one.
