 Siruis DIY?



Does anyone know if it is possible to hardwire a Sirius Starmate receiver to an E60 that is pre-wired for Sirius? Or must you purchase the expensive Sirius receiver the dealer sells (and if so, where can you find it the cheapest).

Have a Starmate from my old car, and dont want to clutter the new car with a suctioncup or sticky taped receiver.

I have a starmate replay too. I think the best you can do is run a pin plug from the aux out on the Starmate to the aux in on the car. Then you dont get all the sirius detail on the I drive screen. I went for the sirius option. Ill use my starmate replay in my 4 runner.

A receiver is a reciever....someone must know how to jimmy one of these Starmates to work like the more expensive installed one.
