Price on 2007 550

Alright, this is my first post. Soon to be BMW owner.

I drove the 550 over the weekend and I have decided that this is the car I want, now on to the negotiations. I noticed a good number of people on this forum getting the 5 series for 1,500 - 2,000 over invoice.

The first offer I received from a dealer was 1,000 under MSRP (about $4,450 over invoice). Before I begin the long and arduous process of calling other dealers throughout the state, I want to know if I am wasting my time. Is 1500-2000 over invoice realistic?

Any dealer recommendations in Florida would be appreciated.

Car would be an 2007 550 with Sport Package and Auto only. MSRP: 62,000 Invoice: 56,550.

i got this by calling a number of local bmw dealers and speaking with sales rep. upfront telling them the exact car i wanted with options and what i would pay. last dealer was my local who matched the other quotes and got me to 1500 over invoice. know retail fees first and you wiull be fine. they are listed in post named my07 pricing i believe. good luck.

It's going to be tough getting a good deal on an 07 550i since they just came out. Have you considered ED?
