I have been eyeing the E60 for months, and last night my wife and I went to Sterling BMW in Newport Beach and left with a 2005 530i (12k miles) for me and an X5 3.0 (18K miles) for her . Now the reality of those payments are setting in. We got pretty good deals. We both chose to extend the service warranty to 6 years, 100,000 miles. (It sounded like it was worth it) I am really excited because this is my first BMW and all I can say is WOW. I am a 37 year old teacher in Southern CA. and I was previously driving a Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. What a difference.

I am looking forward to learning lot's about about my new car and will post pic's sometime this week. I think it is beautiful: Titanium Gray Metallic, Black Leather, Premium package, Sport Package, A6, Xenon, Sirius ready. If the car is Serius ready, what does that mean? It also has Adaptive light control, is that the same as Adaptive head light in the manual?
