It just occured to me that the Germans will be all "eyes and ears" on the World Cup matches this June/July.
I'd be wary of buying a BMW or any German made vehicle that was assembled during the World Cup weeks. All the watching/listening to the matches while on the job, and then partying to celebrate win or mourn loss will effect productivity. Those of you with Euro Deliv or build to order vehicles that will be assembled during the World Cup weeks..."buyer beware"!!!
Kind of like the NCAA March Madness effect here in the US. That "bracket-ology" thing drags down productivity and focus to attention/details on the job. Based on various news reports this week, $billions are wasted during March Madness weeks.
Those of you w/ build dates that coincide w/ World Cup....any thoughts?

I think that's more than you ought to worry about, seriously.

Haha... maybe that's why they close down the BMW production lines during Octoberfest

If you ever do a Euro Delivery, be sure to sign up for a tour at the plant in Dingolfing. You know how we have pop machines? Well, they have beer machines...in the plant...and usually with several extra cases stacked up next to the machine....

Well,
The robots and other machines performing the automated process won't be hung over. However, I wonder if the door seals are installed by real people.

Eitherway,
Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to do the factor tour. Are there different factorys to tour? Or just the one in Dingolfing?
