Amethyst Gray Metallic 530i ? any input on this color?

Aren't you a little late asking this question since you ordered it already? Your questions is is an impossible one. It is subjective. What one person may like, another one may no like. Since you did ask, I will give MY opinion. I did not like it when I saw it. I went to buy a CPO and they had a very low mileage 2005. I wanted to like it because I wanted the car. I kept looking at it thinking, where is they grey in it. The car just looked kinda brown to me. I then looked at other dealers and and never saw anothwr car in that color. I thought that maybe it is a bad color and not popular. I ended up buying another car. Actaully my color doesn't seem that popular sice I don't see any arounfg, but I like it a lot. Olive Green Metallic '05 530i loaded. I like the car and color a lot. EVERYBODY has silver or variation of it.
Bottom line is you are spending a lot of money on a great car and if you are questioning the color now, you probably will question it after you have it. Don't spend your time doubting yourself, pick another color that you like.

Thx, Mike. | Hey, I debated on that color also, again this is just my opinion but I didn't like that color. Saw only one car with it but it looked brown and a lot like the gold that is on my wifes car.
Also, think of resale, you want to go with more of a classic color so that it will have better resale potential. If you are debating it (and it sounds like you are) then change the color if you can. That's just MHO.

this is a leased car , so resale is not a problem; also I have like 1 week before it goes into production(my delivery date early March). My other 2 cars were Sienna red not a most popular color, but I like it. I like Silver, but already have 1 silver x3 , no red option for 5-ser. , black is only nice when clean (and I only wash my car once a month , sorry no time ), I like Silver Gray but too much on a road. I'm lost .... . What about Titanium Gray, I think its almost black is it true ?

I think the color looks great. It looks like copper or rose gold to me. If that's the color that grabs you and moves you then get it. Who cares what anybody else thinks. It's a lease anyway. The cool thing is that you'll more than likely have the only one like it (trust me, it's not that commonly ordered.)
